How can I find a peer reviewed article?

Answer

A peer-reviewed scholarly article is an article that has been vetted by other scholars in the field, ensuring the research meets quality standards before publication.

To find a peer-reviewed article, you can either enter your search terms directly into the "Search Everything" bar on the library home page or use one of the databases found in our A-Z  Database page or in a research guide specific to your class or subject area.

If you are using the "Search Everything" bar, you can then simply click on 'Peer Reviewed' to filter your search to peer reviewed articles only.

For other databases you may have to go into the filter settings or advanced search to limit your results to peer reviewed articles only. When selecting from the A-Z Database list, set the Type to "Peer Reviewed."
