How many hours do you need to be a full time student?
Student Course Load
A minimum of twelve (12) credit hours is
considered a full-time academic load at NorthWest
Arkansas Community College, this includes Fall, Spring and Summer semester.
No more than nineteen (19) hours may be taken during a fall or
spring semester, and summer registration is limited to
a maximum of fourteen (14) hours.
Students wishing to register for more than the allowed
credit hours are required to obtain the signed approval.
