How do I renew my New York Times access?
Is your access to the nytimes suddenly being denied? It means it's time to verify you are still part of the NWACC Library subscription.
Answer
Access to the New York Times and all NYT apps for NWACC faculty, students, and staff is provided through NWACC Library. This library-provided educational account is called a NYTimes Group Pass.
Educational accounts in NWACC's Group Pass must be reauthorized annually in order to ensure all users are still affiliated with NWACC, which is a requirement for use.
Each year, you must activate a new pass at library.nwacc.edu/newyorktimes. Search for Northwest Arkansas Community College. This link and method should work from off campus or on campus.
If this method doesn't work, and you are on a campus connection, you may visit NYTimes.com/GroupPass
When you reactivate your account, you will get an option to add a reminder to your calendar.
